Over the Rainbow Project is a Denver-based behavioral health and recovery nonprofit serving individuals throughout Denver and surrounding Colorado communities. As a BHA-licensed treatment center located in Denver, we provide accessible mental health care, substance abuse recovery services, life-skills training, and vocational support to clients across the metro area through in-person programs and secure telehealth options.

Denver-Based Behavioral Health & Recovery Services

Across our entire service area, Over the Rainbow Project provides comprehensive behavioral health and recovery support rooted in evidence-based and peer-informed care. Our Denver facility offers substance abuse recovery programs, medication services, and structured outpatient care designed to support sustainable progress.

We offer Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Extended Outpatient Programs (EOP) for individuals who need consistent clinical and peer support while maintaining daily responsibilities. Our team works closely with each participant to build personalized care plans that prioritize safety, empowerment, and long-term wellness.

Life Skills, Job Readiness & Vocational Training

In addition to clinical services, we support individuals throughout Denver and nearby communities with practical life-skills training and workforce preparation. These programs are designed to help participants build confidence, develop independence, and prepare for meaningful employment.

Our Wizard of Paws dog kennel and daycare program provides hands-on vocational training in animal care and kennel management. This program supports individuals experiencing homelessness or employment barriers by offering structured, real-world job training in a supportive environment while contributing to the local Denver community.

Coaching LGBTQ+ & Professional Education Programs

Over the Rainbow Project also serves professionals and organizations across our service area through our nationally recognized Coaching LGBTQ+ curriculum. These programs are designed for healthcare providers, educators, social service professionals, and community organizations seeking to deliver more inclusive, trauma-informed care.

Our LGBTQIA2+-affirming education and coaching programs help professionals across the Denver metro area strengthen their ability to support diverse populations while fostering safer, more inclusive environments.
